The Gardens of Parry Sound Retirement Residence is a licensed and accredited retirement residence and offers both Independent Living and Assisted Living. This allows our residents the ability to age-in-place, secure in knowing that additional support is ready and waiting, if ever needed in the future.
No Personal Care needed
Independent Living
Our Independent Living option is ideal for Seniors who are able to maintain their independent lifestyle, but are looking for a more social environment or peace of mind. Our Independent Living program includes utilities, monthly wellness checks, three meals daily, activity programs, use of the Gardens amenities, emergency response system, and weekly housekeeping.
Regular Personal Care

Living
Our Assisted Living option is ideal for Seniors who would benefit from some additional assistance in their daily lives. The Assisted Living program includes all the benefits of the Independent Living, plus medication administration, assistance with daily activities such as dressing, bathing and personal grooming, daily housekeeping and weekly personal laundry.

The Gardens of Parry Sound also offers a Respite care program for seniors who are looking for a temporary accommodation. Whether a senior is being discharged from the hospital and needs some extra care to get back on their feet, or their current care giver is unable to care for them for a couple days, the respite care program is able to help.

Living at the Gardens of Parry Sound is similar to living at a resort. There are so many amenities and special features to help our residents be social, engaged and safe.

What suite layout is right for you?
Everyone has different wants and needs. Thankfully the Gardens of Parry Sound offers 10 different well-appointed studios, one-bedrooms and a two-bedroom suite option to choose from, all equipped with a three-piece washroom, individual climate control units, emergency response systems and includes a 40″ television.
All of the 11 suite options include unique features such as bigger and smaller kitchenettes, balconies or ground floor suites.
STUDIO SUITES
A studio suite has one main room and a private bathroom. The main room is the living area, and bedroom all in one open space. A studio is the perfect option for single seniors who don’t need more space.
ONE-BEDROOM SUITES
A one-bedroom suite has one bedroom, a living area, a kitchenette, and a private bathroom. Perfect for couples and single seniors who want extra space.
TWo-BEDROOM SUITE
The Gardens of Parry Sound only offers one Two-bedroom suite which has a large kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, private bathroom and multiple closets (including a walk-in).

Our goal is to provide seniors with the highest standard of care, improving their quality of life while maintaining their independence and dignity. Our approach is resident-centered and based on respect, collaboration and choice. We take pride in caring for our residents beyond just medication administration – from how they look in the morning to how they feel at the end of the day. We know what each of our resident’s like their coffee or tea.
